Community Supported Agriculture

  • What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a way for you to buy fresh, seasonal produce directly from a local farm. Here's how it works: you purchase a "share" at the beginning of the growing season, and in return, you receive a weekly box of whatever we're harvesting throughout the season.

Think of it as a farm subscription, but it's more than just a transaction, it's a partnership. When you join our CSA, you become an essential part of our farm community, sharing in both the risks and rewards of farming alongside us.

The Rewards: Most weeks, your box will overflow with peak-season abundance—think sun-ripened tomatoes still warm from the vine, crisp lettuce harvested that morning, or more zucchini than you knew what to do with (we'll share recipes!). You'll taste vegetables at their absolute freshest and most flavorful, often within hours of harvest.

The Risks: Some weeks, an unexpected frost, drought, or pest might mean smaller harvests or different varieties than we planned. When this happens, we all share in the challenge together. This is reality of farming.

By committing early, you help us buy seeds, prepare the soil, and invest in the season ahead with confidence. In return, you get a front-row seat to where your food comes from and the satisfaction of supporting a real local farm.

  • You'll pick up your share at the farm once a week, filled with whatever's at its peak in the fields. We grow everything from crowd favorites like lettuce, cucumbers, and corn to more adventurous options like garlic scapes and kohlrabi. We adjust our crop plan every year based on feedback from you all on what you want to see more or less of.

We have a market style CSA. You choose what goes in your box. Each week, we set up an array of freshly harvested crops, and you walk through and select what appeals to you. Don't like something? No worries, just skip it and take more of what you do like.

The variety and quantity you take home depends on which share size you choose, what the season is offering, and your personal preferences. Sometimes certain crops will be available at our farm stand but not in the CSA that week (or vice versa) due to harvest timing or quantities.

As a CSA member, you'll be saving 10-15% on a CSA vs. buying that same produce from the grocery store or farmer’s market.
