Food Sovereignty Blooms Here
Flowers Are the Cornerstone of Agroecology
At Dawn Land Farm, flowers do more than bloom. They invite beneficial insects into our fields, protecting our vegetables without chemicals. They're our way of giving back to the land that feeds us. We grow them for ceremonies, for medicine, and because beauty matters, especially beauty that comes from care, not exploitation.
Most cut flowers are imported and drenched in chemicals that harm farmworkers, pollinators, and you. Choosing local flowers is choosing a different way.
Our Floral Director, Amber Tamm, wrote the eye-opening Bouquets of Pesticides report, revealing the toxic reality behind conventional bouquets. Dawn Land flowers are grown differently, using agroecological practices that build soil health, support ecosystems, and create beauty without harm.
When you choose our flowers, you're not just buying something pretty. You're supporting a food system that values life over profit.
